I have been a bit absent from the blog lately. Things have just been super hectic. You know how life goes. Being a single mommy to a very active 6 year old, takes its toll on you. I have been very uninspired and just down in the dumps. But after just putting the blog aside for a while and focusing on getting myself back into tip top shape, I feel like I am ready to get going again.
I get asked by work colleagues, my mom and other friends how to apply eyeshadow, how to contour and so on. Many times it is simple to explain but other times I find referring them to a certain YouTube video, will help them much more. I personally love watching videos on YouTube, because no matter how much you think you know, you will always learn something more. I have put together a list of 18 videos, from YouTube beauty vloggers, that will help with every aspect of makeup. The list also includes a few stunning looks for you to create! I promise I am not biased towards any of these YouTubers, they are just simply amazing and I have learnt so much from them.
My last wishlist is all the products I would love to get my hands on from overseas and that are not readily available here in South Africa. And with the exchange rate as is, I definitely won't be able to afford these products, but a girl can wish, right?
First up and one of the products I want so badly is the Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Face palette. I covet this so much. That champagne pop highlighter is my spirit animal. All these products are items that I would love to have in my makeup kit. The Bobbi Brown BBU palette I have wanted since I started doing makeup. It has everything a makeup artist could need. Correctors, concealers and foundation. It is just the perfect palette.
