For my sis...

Today I wanted to do something a little different. We all have that one friend who seems more like a sister than anything else, right? Well today I want to send a tribute to her. No matter how much we talk, I don’t think she knows the impact she has had in my life. So to Christine, my sister, my person and my exit buddy, this is for you!

I will never forget the day we became friends, on twitter of all places, but friends we would become. I knew that we were meant to meet each other from the beginning. Even though I am older than you, our love for One Direction, created a bond that would never be broken.  

We have shared so much with each other. From late night calls to messages in the early hours of the morning. You know all my secrets and I know yours. You are always the first one I want to share my news with.

I had the privilege of doing your makeup for your matric dance and that is a memory that will stay with me till the very end. Seeing you look so beautiful and getting to share the day with you. I could never have imagined that we would share so much with each other.

The build up to our concert, all the long messages and planning, words will never explain how much it meant to share the experience with you. Waiting for so long and finally getting to see them live, memories that will stay with me till the day I die. Seeing you interact with J, well that made the night worth it.

You will always be the one who I call, for advice or just a shoulder to cry on. And you know I will always be there for you. No matter what time of night or day. I know that our path of friendship has really only just began but I know for sure that, we will one day be old ladies in our rocking chairs, still rocking out to One Direction and 5SOS.

So my beautiful and intelligent sis, thank you from the bottom of my heart for always being here for me. Many days I don’t know what I would do without you. You make the days brighter and the jokes better. I can’t wait to be your maid of honor and a great aunt to your kids. You will always be my person and my exit buddy. You deserve the world. Thank you for being you sis.
