Having faith & letting go...

Have you ever wanted something so badly, that you push it away? It is something that you have desired for so long and now that it seems to be coming true, you just can’t leave it alone?  It’s like a scab after a wound, you know under the scab is a healed part, but you just can’t leave it alone. So you pull at it but all you end up doing is creating another sore. (Sorry for that analogy) Sometimes it is best to just let things be. If it is meant to be it will be.

This is the situation I find myself in right now… I have found the one thing that might just be what I have been searching for my whole life, and it is taking its time to manifest. Now I am very impatient and the wait is killing me. As I sit here right now, I know if I continue to push I might just push it away. So I have to calm down and let things work themselves out.

I have always been a big believer in fate and the fact that you meet people for a reason. Sometimes the reason isn’t clear and other times it is clear from the beginning. Sometimes it is to teach you a lesson, sometimes it is a way to show you what you truly deserve. And sometimes you glimpse a view of the life you have always potentially wanted, and could have, but there seems like a million obstacles in your path. But that doesn’t take away the fact that you see this picture so clearly. Every dream is as clear as if it was happening before you.

No matter how hard you try, you just can’t forget about it, because you know that this is what you truly desire. But pushing too hard and not letting things develop in their own time, is a sure fire way to send your dreams crashing and burning. So here is the hard part. Knowing that if what you truly desire was meant to be yours, you need to give it the space and time it needs to become yours.

Rushing things will only cause you more grief. But don’t give up either. Rather hold fast to your dreams. Make sure that you remember every detail of your dreams.  Daydream and keep them alive, for if you believe strongly in something, it will come true.

So here is to the ones who are impatient and wish that things would speed along. Hold fast to your dreams dear one, for one day they will paint the sky for all to see. Be free and strong and believe with all your heart!
