Is it just me or does South Africa seriously lack in the “concealer”
arena? I know we have M.A.C and all the other elite brands, but I am talking
about the in the drugstore brands for the budget friendly girl. I have
purchased some from certain brands and to say they didn’t live up to standard
is an understatement. They are either too thin or fade away before the morning
is over. When I picked up the Catrice Re-touch Light Reflecting concealer, I was
pretty skeptical.
Feature
Catrice say “The ultimate creamy, light concealer for
radiant eyes and a fresh appearance: light-reflecting pigments and medium
coverage combined with moisturizing ingredients hide shadows under your eyes
and other small imperfections in no time at all. Its gentle texture feels
pleasant on the sensitive skin around your eyes.”
Quality
This product feels like superb quality when you hold the
packaging in your hand. It is sturdy and easy to use. Once opened the product
has a rich creamy consistency. It applies easily with its brush applicator.
Main Benefit
This product definitely covers dark marks and circles. There
is also no creasing and for even longer wear, I recommend that you set it with
a powder and a small brush.
Ease of use
With its brush applicator the product is a breeze to apply.
Initially it does take a few twists of the pen to get the product out, but
after that only one twist gives you more than enough product.
Who would the product suit
This product would suit anyone who has dark circles under
the eyes and also dark marks. It is also great for the budget friendly girl.
Pros
Easy to apply
Rich consistency
Once set with powder doesn’t move.
Cons
Only thing is getting the product out initially. Other than
that this product is amazing.
