Unless you live in another universe, you will know that Macklemore & Ryan Lewis released a new song yesterday. Not only does it feature my favorite singer, Ed Sheeran, but it is also a song that will touch you in ways you have never been touched before.
This song is for all the soon-to-be dad's who are so scared of what is to come. Scared that they won't be good enough for their unborn child or won't be there long enough to see them become who they are meant to be. Scared that they themselves are not grown up enough to raise a child. It is also a song to Sloane, guiding her through life.
This song is raw and pulls at your heart strings. Macklemore sure knows how to deliver a message with his raps. Combine that with Ed's voice and you have the making of a track that will not only jump to the top of the charts but will also be an anthem for all father's.
