RIMMEL VOLUME COLOURIST MASCARA

Another month, another mascara on my journey to find the perfect mascara. I had read about the Rimmel Volume Colourist mascara online and was intrigued to try it out. Rimmel claims that this mascara will slightly tint your lashes with every uses and that in two weeks you should see your lashes become darker. It also promises to volumise you lashes. 
My initial thoughts on this mascara is that I would love a product that could do two things at once. I mean who doesn't want to have their lashes tinted while they wear mascara? Firstly I love the packaging. So stylish and of course the rose gold is so pretty! Upon opening the mascara I was pleased to find a spoolie type brush. I honestly don't like the silicone brushes. 

This mascara applied brilliantly. Each and every lash was coated and after two coats, my lashes looked fuller and volumised. The brush combs through each lash and there are no spider lashes. Which is a huge plus for me.

I have been using this mascara for about a week and a half now, and my lashes seems a tiny bit darker than they usually are. I think it will slightly tint the lashes but it is definitely not the same as having them tinted at a salon. This is great for girls who don't have the time to go to the salon (like me).

One other thing I must mention, I have seen a bit of flakiness at the end of the day. When I get home, I have a lot of mascara under my eyes. This has to be the one downside of the product. But other than that, I really love this mascara. It is definitely one that I will be repurchasing.
