Review ~ Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation

As you know, I don’t like foundation, because of how heavy it feels on my face. But the bb cream that I have been using, doesn’t seem to hide the two dark marks on my face anymore. So I went searching for a foundation that wasn’t heavy on my skin and also didn’t make my face look caked on. I still want the sheerness of a bb cream but with more coverage. Insert Rimmel London’s Match Perfection Foundation.

Feature

Rimmel say “A match so perfect, it's undetectable in any light! Light Perfecting radiance foundation traceless coverage and perfectly flawless skin under any light Lasts all day. SPF 18.” So basically a bb cream foundation that will cover all the marks that lasts all day.

Quality

When you feel and smell the product, you know it is quality. It was the velvet texture and glides on effortlessly. 

Main Benefit

When I tested the product in the store, without even having to search long, I found the right colour. I have always had to sample so many shades just to find one that looks nearly like my skin tone. With this one, I saw the shade and jip exactly the colour to match my neckline.  Another great benefit is that it isn’t heavy. I know there is foundation my skin, but it isn’t that heavy coverage foundation.

There is a little greasiness and you need to set it with a powder if you don't like having a dewy complexion. 

Ease of use

With its pump top, this bottle is a dream to use. I pump 2 drops on the back of my hand. I then dab it on my face, and using a foundation stippling brush, I work it into my face. No need for extra as just that small amount covers everything.

Who would the product suit

If you don’t want a heavy coverage and bb cream isn’t doing it for you anymore, then I would definitely recommend this product for you.
