Books I'm currently reading...

Lately I have been reading a lot, not like I haven't always, but in the past week I have read 3 books. Usually it would be around 2 books a month. Not that I'm complaining at all. I love to read! For me it is an escape from reality. Anyway this past weekend I went to my favorite bookstore. They sell used books, kinda like a trade in shop, where you can trade in your old books for others. I never trade in as I love to keep my books. I purchased 5 books for R 50.00, which is a steal. I know they aren't new books but they are books and they need a good home.

1. The Carrie Diaries ~ Candace Bushnell

I have actually finished this one, and I love it! I am a huge fan of Carrie Bradshaw and have watched Sex and the City and The Carrie Diaries religiously. 10/10 for this book.

2. The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas ~ John Boyne

I have watched the movie a million times and every time it has reduced me to tears. I'm hoping to get the same emotion from the book.

3. The Perfect Man ~ Sheila O'Flanagan

Seems like the perfect book to get lost in.

4. Thursdays at Eight ~ Debbie Macomber

Something short to snuggle up to. As you can see I love the romance books.

5. Last Chance Saloon ~ Marian Keyes

I absolutely love the way Marian writes and have most of her books except this one. I can't wait to read it.
