Dear Dad…

Where do I begin to say thank you for everything you have ever done for me and all the things you have done for Robbie?  Words could never describe how much you mean to me and how thankful I am but I will try to explain. Let’s start at the beginning shall we?

Keeping with the theme of Fathers Day, I thought what better way than doing a post about my dad's favorite things... 

What is a dad?

The saying goes “Anyone can be a father but it takes someone special to be a dad!” and I would have to agree.  I have been on both sides of the spectrum, where I have a loving dad but I also have a person who was only the “father” to my son. I have to say it is a bittersweet place to be.
